MASTERS AND DOCTORALPROGRAMMES - NEW APPLICATIONS FOR 2023
The Postgraduate Program in Mathematics (PMA) is receiving new applications for the entrance in masters and doctoral programmes up to November, 04 2022
The applications for the entrance in our Postgraduate Program in the first semester of 2023 have been started, the deadline is November, 04 2022 and the applications are entirely online. Twenty enrolments for each programme are being offered and, depending on the academic candidate portfolio, there is the possibility to get fellowships from national support foundations as CAPES and CNPq.
PMA is highly recommended by the national foundation CAPES. In the last evaluation process made by this research foundation, PMA receives score 5 (the maximum is score 7). Our advisor's staff are composed of researchers in Pure Algebra, Analysis & PDE, Geometry & Topology, and Applied Mathematics.
The application process for the doctoral programme is based on the analysis of the personal CV and the two recommendation letters.
The application process for the masters programme is also based on the analysis of the personal CV and two recommendation letters. Depending on this analysis, it is asked to the candidate to make a test containing questions in basic Real Analysis and Linear Algebra.
